How does Phaze track lab results compared to a notebook?
A paper notebook captures values, but it cannot draw the trend, and the trend is usually the point. With Phaze you can either type a result manually, which is free, or use Phaze Pro to scan a printed report or PDF and let OCR help pull values, units, and reference ranges. Each value gets its own chart across 8 lab categories (GLP-1, Metabolic, Lipids, Vitamins, Kidney, Liver, Thyroid, Inflammation), with your dose schedule overlaid, so a step up to the next dose lines up next to a change in a value. Lab data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM in the Apple Keychain, local-first, never sold, and never used to train AI. A notebook just cannot do that. Phaze tracks the numbers; interpreting them is between you and your doctor.
